A key member of the Bayleys commercial team, Steve Pett has brokered a significant number of commercial real estate transactions. His vast experience and knowledge in sales, business and tourism, motels and hotels, coupled with a passion for property, gives him the expertise and motivation to deliver a premium service. His diverse proficiencies are balanced by good communication skills and a set of strong ethics. Reliability, hard work and honesty define his approach.
Before joining Bayleys, Steve spent eight very successful years as sales manager for a leading New Zealand packaging company. His entrepreneurial ability then led him to establish a brand-new motel business in Hamilton, followed by a further two innovative businesses that were new to the city. He continues to work closely with these businesses.
Steve understands time is valuable and service is a key component to working alongside his clients. He operates on the premise that people do business with people they want to work with. Working collaboratively with clients, Steve offers suggestions on how to maximise the value of their asset, enabling them to make informed decisions on marketing their business or property. His support continues throughout the transition process, and beyond.
Steve enjoys being out and about, meeting people and helping them seek out opportunities to realise their dreams. He’s readily available to meet clients, spend time discussing their needs and gain an understanding of what success looks like to them. His direct, open and honest approach ensures they gather the right information.
Away from work Steve enjoys playing sport or watching it with his family. He cherishes a relaxing day of fishing and likes a great coffee or a quiet drink with mates.
