Elliott's Kapiti Coast Motor Lodge is a 12 unit motel situated in the thriving Kapiti Coast.
There are 7 x studio units, 4 x one bedroom units and 1 x two bedroom unit. The units are spacious, quiet and tastefully decorated with ten of the units having spa baths, which are popular with the guests.
The owners' home is over two levels and consists of three bedrooms upstairs, a spacious lounge/dining/kitchen are downstairs, next to the reception. There is also an internal access garage, private courtyard and the house is separate from the motel units.
The motel is an approximate 2-3 minutes walk to the town centre, Coastlands Shopping Centre and the railway station.
A feature of this motel, not found in very many others, is that the Vendor has installed (at considerable cost) a self-check-in kiosk. The kiosk has lots of advantages and is providing a great addition to the motel.
The Kapiti Coast, and in particular Paraparaumu, is a growing area which is benefiting from the new expressway, which, when completed, will stretch from the Wellington/Porirua area and past the Kapiti Coast.
The lease has been extended and now expires in December 2039. The current rent is $102,000 per annum.
Overall the motel is very nice and the business is trading consistently well. Could suit a couple wanting to enter the accommodation industry for the first time.
